Who we are
This policy explains how Dragonfly Solutions Group Inc., trading as Dragonfly Drones and Geospatial Solutions ("Dragonfly", "we"), collects, uses and protects personal information and client data. We are based in Georgetown, Guyana.
What we collect through this website
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company, the service you need, project location, scope, timeline and any message, together with the page you sent it from.
When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email we keep the details of that conversation needed to respond to it.
We collect anonymous usage information about how the website is used - pages visited, how visitors arrived and the type of device - through analytics tools described below.
How we use enquiry data, and how long we keep it
We use enquiry details only to respond to you, prepare a quotation, and deliver and administer any work you engage us for. We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to work we carry out are kept for as long as needed for that work and to meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, managed through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the website is used. These tools set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser. We also record when someone taps our phone, WhatsApp or email links so we can tell which pages produce enquiries.
You can refuse non-essential cookies through the cookie notice, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The website works without them.
Who receives data
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Google, for website analytics
- Our form provider, which delivers enquiries submitted through this website
- Our email host, which stores our correspondence
Each receives only what it needs to provide its service.
Client project data
Our work involves capturing aerial imagery and survey data over client sites, including mines, oil and gas facilities, infrastructure and farms. We treat this data as confidential to the client.
Project data is stored in access-controlled storage, available only to the Dragonfly staff working on the project. Ownership of captured data and deliverables, and how long we retain it, are set out in the quotation and our Terms & Conditions. We do not publish or share imagery of a client site without the client's permission.
Where aerial imagery incidentally captures identifiable people or private property, we use it only for the purpose of the project and do not publish it in a way that identifies individuals without consent.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
