Drone Pilot Training in Guyana
Building skilled operators. Strengthening institutions. Advancing drone adoption.
Training is delivered by working commercial pilots.
Everything taught here is drawn from survey, inspection and production work we fly ourselves, under Guyana Civil Aviation Authority certification.
Dragonfly Training delivers professional drone instruction and advisory services across Guyana, building operational capability, improving safety, and supporting the compliant integration of drone technology into organisations.
Our programmes serve individuals, youth and early-career professionals, enterprise teams and government agencies, combining hands-on instruction with real-world operational practice.

Enterprise and government training
For organisations, groups and agencies.
Enterprise programmes are designed for organisations deploying drones safely and efficiently in line with regulatory and operational standards. They support institutional readiness, workforce development and standardised drone integration across departments.
Training is delivered in Georgetown or on your site, scheduled around your operations, and built around the equipment and applications your team will actually use.
We deliver programmes for:
- Government agencies and ministries
- Utilities and infrastructure operators
- Engineering and construction firms
- Security, monitoring and inspection teams
- Agricultural operations
- Development programmes and NGOs
Advisory and programme development
For organisations establishing or improving a drone capability
Buying aircraft is the easy part. Making a drone programme work - safely, legally and with data people trust - takes operational design.
Programme design and development
Needs assessment and feasibility analysis, programme design and implementation planning, operational frameworks and governance.
Integration and optimisation
Improving existing operations, raising workflow efficiency and data quality, aligning drone use with organisational goals.
Hardware and sensor advisory
Platform and sensor selection, application-specific payload recommendations, and targeted training on the equipment you choose.
Regulatory and operational readiness
Safety management frameworks, risk assessment and mitigation, and SOP development with the operational documentation to support it.
The outcome is a programme that reduces risk, improves return on the equipment investment, and gets to useful output faster.

DRONEKIDS and DRONEGIRLS
DRONEKIDS and DRONEGIRLS introduce young Guyanese to drone technology, flight, and the STEM careers behind them.
Guyana's drone and geospatial industry is growing faster than the technical workforce to staff it. The people who will fill those roles are in school now, and getting a controller into their hands early is how that pipeline gets built.
The programmes run in schools and communities across Guyana, with a particular focus through DRONEGIRLS on girls entering technical fields.
